Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for the Air Dominance SRE team, owning reliability strategy and architecture for mission-critical developer platforms. Lead standards and design reviews across GitLab CI/CD runners, Jira/Confluence, PostgreSQL, and software delivery tooling such as Artifactory and SonarQube. Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code to reduce toil, improve observability and operational readiness, and lead complex incident investigations, migrations, and disaster recovery approaches in a 100% onsite environment at Berkeley, MO.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and lead Site Reliability Engineering technical strategy for GitLab, CI/CD runners, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL, Artifactory, SonarQube, and related developer tooling infrastructure.
•Establish reliability architecture and operational standards, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, KPIs, error budgets, observability patterns, capacity models, backup strategies, and disaster recovery approaches.
•Lead complex technical investigations and incidents, including root cause analysis and systemic reliability improvements.
•Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and configuration management to reduce toil and improve reliability.
•Mentor SREs and lead architecture/design reviews for infrastructure, monitoring/alerting, access controls, and platform integrations, while partnering with program and stakeholder teams.

Key Requirements

•Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (active within the past 24 months) and ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
•Bachelor's Degree.
•14+ years of experience with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, software engineering, and/or cloud engineering.
•Experience with GitLab and CI/CD (including GitLab CI/CD and CI/CD runners), and experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
•Experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), plus 5 years conducting root cause analysis of design failures.
