Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce parts demand forecasts for Visual Display and Digital Appliance parts operations and maintain monthly forecast accuracy.
  • •Manage inventory including turnover, disposition, monitoring for excess/obsolete materials, and optimizing inventory control procedures.
  • •Perform procurement activities: prepare inventory tracking, initiate purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and produce purchasing reports/record transactions.
  • •Support product development organizations by fulfilling procurement needs from demand forecast and project activities.
  • •Coordinate with cross-functional partners to assess supply levels (shortages, backorders, aging) and communicate forecast/inventory estimations to management.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of applicable experience in supply chain and component/part sales or service parts (demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, FIFO, inventory control, S&OP) preferably in hi-tech/consumer electronics.
  • •Strong understanding of financial and inventory measures such as sales, weeks of supply, safety stock, sell-thru, and inventory turns.
  • •Knowledge of S&OP principles and practices.
  • •Experience with SAP ERP or similar business systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, macros).
