Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, lead, and improve sourcing strategies using end-to-end metrics for business and production success.
  • •Maintain BOM configuration, ensure accurate lead times and inventory levels (including spares) to mitigate part shortages risk.
  • •Support make vs buy decisions, launch new product introductions, and perform should-cost modeling to optimize PO issuance and execution.
  • •Conduct supply/demand and lead-time risk analysis across piece parts to launch vehicle integration.
  • •Optimize logistics and ordering/redistribution policies, lead supplier relationships and initiatives (including supplier visits), and execute design-for-manufacturability/value engineering activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience, or advanced degree; or 6+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations/supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling.
  • •Experience working in one or more of: engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management.
  • •Electronics industry experience.
  • •Ability to read drawings and blueprints and understand manufacturing processes.
  • •Technical knowledge using tools such as MS Office Suite and software applications (e.g., VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI).
