Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify electrical i2V opportunities through design review, cost analysis, supplier benchmarking, localization, and value engineering activities.
  • •Develop and validate cost-effective electrical design alternatives while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Partner with suppliers and sourcing teams to evaluate alternative components, drive localization, clarify technical requirements, and support realized savings.
  • •Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and develop and implement corrective actions.
  • •Lead i2V project technical reviews, qualification activities, risk assessments, milestone tracking, issue resolution, and savings/implementation progress updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical control systems, with value engineering, cost reduction, localization, product sustaining, or industrial equipment improvement experience preferred.
  • •Strong expertise in medium- and low-voltage motor control systems, VSD systems, soft starters, PLC and HMI systems, industrial communication protocols, and electrical integration.
  • •Proficient in PLC programming and system integration using platforms such as Inovance, Siemens, and Allen-Bradley (AB).
  • •Familiar with applicable electrical codes and standards (including GB, CE directives/standards, and UL) and with screw compressor products and control logic.
