Key Responsibilities

  • •Design sub-systems/systems of process chambers used in semiconductor equipment
  • •Develop, design, and modify mechanical concept layouts/schematics and detailed drawings/specifications
  • •Create mechanical product specifications and draft machined/structural/fabricated/sheet metal components using CAD tools (UG NX & Teamcenter)
  • •Perform moderate-complexity engineering analysis and troubleshoot mechanical problems under supervision
  • •Oversee manufacturing and installation processes and coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment

Key Requirements

  • •Strong mechanical engineering design knowledge including engineering drawings and GD&T/ASME standards
  • •Knowledge of materials (ferrous & non-ferrous metals and ceramics) and materials & manufacturing processes
  • •Experience working in product development from concept/feasibility through prototype and handoff to high-volume manufacturing
  • •2-3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a product development and manufacturing environment; semiconductor equipment industry experience preferred
  • •Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical problems of moderate difficulty and communicate technical ideas clearly
