Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide commercial advice across the project lifecycle, supporting cost planning, pricing, forecasting, financial reporting, and maintaining robust commercial controls.
  • •Manage change control, review contract performance, support risk management activities, and ensure commercial processes follow contractual requirements.
  • •Support core services and billable works by monitoring supplier performance, managing commercial queries, and contributing to monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting.
  • •Attend commercial and risk meetings, contribute to dispute avoidance and resolution, and support milestone payments and final accounts.
  • •Collaborate with the Principal Commercial Manager and stakeholders to strengthen commercial governance, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Commercial experience in construction, facilities management, property maintenance, or a related industry, with strong quantity surveying principles, commercial management, and contract administration.
  • •Confidence preparing cost models, supporting tenders, managing commercial risk, and providing clear commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Ability to prepare and review commercial forecasts and reporting, with strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
  • •HND, Foundation Degree, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, or significant equivalent industry experience, plus experience across facilities management or construction projects.
  • •Health & Safety awareness training, with an understanding of commercial processes, cost management, and risk analysis.
