Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations; report problems to the foreman, superintendent, safety manager, or human resources manager.
•Follow signals from the pipe layer and signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials placement.
•Operate other equipment as needed (e.g., dozer, skid loader, loader, articulated truck, grader, sheep foot).
•Perform jobsite tasks such as digging, spreading, leveling materials, maintaining machine cleanliness, and following foreman direction.

Key Requirements

•1 year of full-time experience operating an excavator.
•Experience digging around live utilities and in tight workspaces.
•High school diploma or GED preferred.
