Key Responsibilities

  • •Interpret and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and develop inspection plans reflecting critical characteristics and design intent.
  • •Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and measurement system analysis (MSA / Gage R&R) to confirm capability and measurement confidence.
  • •Integrate metrology early with design, manufacturing, and quality to reduce risk and verify processes before scaling.
  • •Troubleshoot systemic measurement issues and support root cause investigations (RCCA), MRB, and incident management for metrology-related quality issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree or equivalent technical training with hands-on metrology experience.
  • •Working knowledge of dimensional metrology, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and inspection methods.
  • •Experience with CMM and metrology software (PolyWorks preferred; PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent acceptable).
  • •Experience with one or more measurement technologies (CMM, portable CMM, 3D scanning, laser tracker, CT, or optical systems).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
