Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end: outcomes and metrics, with a backlog prioritized by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority and crisp acceptance criteria.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering, covering system boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party rail behavior, and recovery paths.
  • •Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, even when challenged by engineering, compliance, or operations leadership.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as product inputs, including licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy.
  • •Apply AI safely by defining what it can decide, human oversight, evaluation methods, and traceability of AI outputs to real records.

Key Requirements

  • •Product leadership experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment under ambiguity and decisiveness.
  • •Solid system design foundations, including boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and concurrency consistency.
  • •Comfort reviewing and challenging design docs, able to sketch architecture and sequences at a technical level.
  • •Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain (e.g., payments/banking/remittance/insurance) or proven fast-ramp ability to money-movement specifics.
  • •Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including framing features as evaluable, understanding hallucination/drift, and knowing when a model must not be in the loop.
