Key Responsibilities

  • •Shuttle merchandise and raw materials between properties and deliver local backhauls as needed.
  • •Safely operate tractor/trailer trucks and straight body trucks to and from shipping/receiving dock areas and other required locations.
  • •Perform DOT and company pre-trip safety inspections, maintain logs/records, and keep daily trip reports and trailer yard inventory.
  • •Maintain dock area exterior and trailer restraint/exterior equipment; remove debris and snow/ice as necessary.
  • •Inspect tail-end drop trailer loads for proper product security, affix trailer seals, correct discrepancies, and support light maintenance and warehouse product transfers.
