Job Summary

Perform water-immersion ultrasonic testing to examine aerospace and other high-performance specialty components, setup and run ultrasonic examinations, and document internal/external defects to determine acceptability. Work with state-of-the-art inspection equipment in a climate-controlled environment and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scan procedures. You’ll complete required training and Level II certification testing onsite, reporting to the Quality Leader on a weekend nights (Fri–Sun) schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Responsible for water immersion ultrasonic setups, examination, and testing to determine acceptability of material and product.
•Examine product for internal or external defects and document results.
•Prepare material for testing by cleaning, identifying, and setting up equipment.
•Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, specifications, and scan procedures to accomplish ultrasonic setups, tests, and report preparation.

Key Requirements

•At least 2 years of manufacturing experience or a technical degree/certification.
•NDT schooling or prior NDT work experience strongly preferred.
•Ability to quickly learn ATI, customers, products, processes, and procedures.
•Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
•Ability to lift 50 pounds.
•Candidates must pass an eye and color exam prior to employment.
•Complete required training and Level II certification testing onsite.
