Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end delivery of Capital Markets products, services, and journeys, including change programmes and production services.
  • •Define and implement forward-looking strategy and Future State Architecture for the Capital Markets domain, aligned to business strategy and enterprise technology architecture.
  • •Lead AI-first engineering for global trading and derivatives platforms, building resilient services across trade lifecycle, pricing, risk, and post-trade processing.
  • •Drive AI and automation agenda for measurable improvements in business performance, customer/colleague outcomes, operational efficiency, and technical resilience.
  • •Ensure production resilience, service health monitoring, service management, supplier management, and adherence to risk/controls, security, compliance, and business continuity requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong software engineering background with modern engineering practices and secure, resilient platform delivery experience.
  • •Experience building and operating high-availability, high-scale, high-performance systems with production support and operational resilience.
  • •AI/automation engineering literacy, including identifying and delivering practical AI-enabled use cases and partnering with data/ML engineering to productionize solutions.
  • •Proven delivery experience with SRE, DevOps and Lean-Agile ways of working (e.g., Jira workflows, Scrum, sprint-based delivery).
  • •Deep domain knowledge of Private Banking/Wealth and product knowledge of trading and derivatives platforms (order/execution, lifecycle events, pricing/valuation, risk, confirmations, clearing/settlement).
