Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and code automation to reduce operational toil by replacing manual runbooks with orchestrated, auditable failover and recovery workflows.
  • •Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, scripts, and pipelines to provision, configure, and validate recovery environments.
  • •Partner with application and infrastructure teams to assess architecture for reliability, redundancy, and recoverability tied to system criticality.
  • •Plan and execute disaster recovery tests and fault-injection/chaos experiments to expose weaknesses and improve validation and observability.
  • •Facilitate resiliency and architecture reviews and produce examiner-ready documentation aligned with KeyBank policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 63,000 - 96,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • •Demonstrated experience in reliability engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or technology operations.
  • •Hands-on coding/automation and infrastructure-as-code experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell; Terraform, Ansible).
  • •Working knowledge of both on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms (GCP and/or Azure).
  • •Understanding of high-availability design (redundancy, replication, failover, load balancing).
