Job Summary

Maintain and optimize PLC-controlled plating line processes in an automated manufacturing setting. Diagnose and resolve faults in VFDs for conveyors and motors, calibrate sensors, operate SCADA/HMI interfaces, and update PLC programs. Coordinate with equipment vendors and system integrators for upgrades, spare parts, and technical support while leading preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-controlled processes on the automatic plating line (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
•Diagnose and resolve faults in variable-speed drives (VFD/Inverters) for conveyor, hoist, and pump motors.
•Maintain, calibrate, and replace industrial sensors — proximity, temperature, level, flow, and encoder types.
•Operate and manage SCADA/HMI interfaces; update PLC programs and parameters as required.
•Coordinate with equipment vendors and system integrators for upgrades, spare parts, and technical support

Key Requirements

•PLC programming & troubleshooting – Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7, Mitsubishi GX Works or equivalent
•AC/DC Variable Frequency Drives – Siemens, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, ABB or equivalent
•Industrial sensors – proximity, temperature, level, flow and encoder types
•HMI / SCADA operation and basic configuration (Weintek, Siemens, Proface or similar)
•Motor control circuits – DOL, Star-Delta, and VFD-driven systems; DC rectifier systems in electroplating as a strong advantage
