Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and architecture of solutions meeting SYF business requirements, enabling rapid innovation and continuous integration.
•Perform technology alternate assessment and create proofs of concept as needed; guide product teams to ensure standards and best practices.
•Lead Agile sprints as the technical expert, including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
•Collaborate with product management, platform engineering, UX designers, software developers, and application architects to deliver reliable components.
•Drive CI/CD strategy using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and uDeploy and work with third-party vendors to develop or integrate software.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of software engineering experience, or 9+ years without a degree.
•5+ years of applied Java experience.

•Experience developing front-end UI with JavaScript/TypeScript and backend using Java.
•Strong critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and excellence in technical communication; basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence.
