Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain a mobile platform for onboarding, audio recording, and live conversations for tens of thousands of users.
  • •Own mobile features from requirements through implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
  • •Improve audio capture quality and reliability across offline behavior, latency, permissions, device compatibility, and error recovery.
  • •Build contributor-facing recording and submission flows, including metadata collection, QA feedback, payments, and project instructions.
  • •Partner with backend engineering on APIs, data models, and mobile-first upload pipelines; debug production issues across devices and network conditions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience building and shipping production mobile apps.
  • •Experience with React Native, Swift/iOS, and Kotlin/Android.
  • •Comfort owning features end to end, from ambiguous problem to shipped product.
  • •Experience working with background uploads, low bandwidth networks, crash reporting/analytics, push notifications, and app store releases.
  • •Strong debugging ability across frontend, backend, device, network, and user-behavior issues.
