Key Responsibilities

  • •Support security assurance activities by conducting health checks, audits, and compliance reviews across VIVO offices and operational sites.
  • •Maintain security governance by ensuring security arrangements align with Ministry of Defence, DIO, government, and VIVO security policies.
  • •Support investigations into security incidents, misconduct, fraud, and policy breaches by gathering and analysing evidence and producing investigation reports.
  • •Assist personnel security activities with security clearances and pre-employment screening while maintaining confidential records.
  • •Provide trusted advice and raise security awareness by supporting managers and employees on physical, personnel, and information security, fraud prevention, and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Handle highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement.
  • •Remain calm, organised, and objective while managing competing priorities independently.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience supporting investigations, audits, compliance, or security assurance activities.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear reports and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of personnel security and UK security vetting processes would be an advantage.
