Job Summary

Build and lead Maze’s new Market Research service from the ground up, defining what best-in-class research looks like in an AI-native world. Own the research vision, methodologies, delivery processes, quality standards, and hiring strategy. Serve as executive research lead for strategic customer engagements, guide study design and storytelling, and partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Define the long-term vision and best-in-class research standards for Maze’s AI-native market research service.
•Design and evolve research methodologies across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies, incorporating emerging AI capabilities.
•Build and lead the market research organization, including operating model, delivery processes, quality standards, and hiring strategy.
•Serve as executive research lead on strategic customer engagements, guiding study design, analysis, and executive storytelling.
•Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to reflect research expertise across the customer journey and influence AI-powered research capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 260,000 annually

•Strong executive presence advising senior leaders and enterprise customers on research strategy.
•Experience partnering cross-functionally across commercial, product, and operational teams.
