Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights safely and efficiently for groundwork and construction purposes.
  • •Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and the environment.
  • •Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with required documentation, and perform minor servicing/maintenance.
  • •Report problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager and follow direction for daily tasks.
  • •Assist in training less-experienced employees on proper equipment operations, servicing, and repair.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.

  • •Able to read, write, and perform basic math; able to read blueprints or other project documents.
  • •Maintain a current driver’s license meeting state requirements (CDL; Class A and/or B) with possible hazmat and tanker endorsements.
