Key Responsibilities

•Support and own the underlying infrastructure that enables the platform to fight financial crime, including building developer tooling, managing AWS with Terraform, making cross-cutting code changes, analyzing scaling issues, and configuring monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks.
•Collaborate with a small, experienced team in a fully remote environment to design and implement high-impact, scalable solutions.
•Tackle security, reliability, and correctness as top priorities when handling sensitive data and deploying features.
•Influence overall architecture and hosting strategy with a voice in technical discussions and significant decision-making authority.
•Grow into leadership roles over time, with opportunities in product, technology, or people leadership as the company scales.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience with cloud hosted web applications, preferably with some startup experience.
•You love digging into complex problems and determining both the root cause and the best solution to fix.
•You're happy spelunking logs and running diagnostic tools to make sure you understand the problem.
•You sail through ambiguity and enjoy jumping around the stack, touching everything from low level networking and file systems to database configuration and high level architecture.
