Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs, advising on suitable lending options, and driving loan referrals to grow the home lending business. Originate and process residential real estate transactions in line with Home Lending guidelines, serve as primary client contact, and gather required documentation. Meet sales goals while ensuring high client satisfaction and loan quality. Stay current on real estate and mortgage industry developments and KeyBank products.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and develop new client relationships and loan originations through internal referrals and external centers of influence.
•Originate and process targeted family residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending guidelines.
•Provide clients with detailed information about mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather necessary documentation at loan registration and act as the primary client contact throughout the loan process.
•Maintain high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality, using sales/originator systems and workflows efficiently.

Key Requirements

•1+ years mortgage sales experience (required).
•1+ years mortgage processing experience (preferred).
•Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Ability to assess borrower risk by analyzing credit, income, assets, and property data to ensure compliance with lending guidelines and risk standards.
