Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the identity data model by coordinating schemas, cross-ecosystem mapping, deduplication, and re-discovery.
  • •Architect streaming and batch pipelines and drive migrations, cost and reliability improvements, and infrastructure choices.
  • •Design data contracts for downstream consumers, including schema stability, versioning, and rollout.
  • •Lead commercial vendor ingestion for third-party SBOM feeds and translate vendor specs into platform-consumable inputs.
  • •Raise the reliability floor through alarm triage, SLO discipline, cost management, and incident-response leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years at Staff level (or equivalent scope) setting technical direction and influencing peers without direct authority.
  • •Deep data-platform engineering experience at scale, including streaming and batch pipelines and distributed storage in production (Spark, HBase, Databricks, or comparable systems).
  • •Strong Java proficiency (or systems-programming background enabling quick productivity).
  • •Experience designing cross-team data contracts, including schema design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
  • •AWS-native operating experience, including EMR and S3, plus SNS and SQS with strong cost/performance instincts.
