•Integrate AI deeply into software development workflows to improve speed and quality of shipping.
•Build and maintain production systems with strong engineering fundamentals (testing, design, maintainability).
•Develop and deliver AI-powered product features using LLMs and embeddings.
•Assess when AI adds value and make tradeoffs thoughtfully across cost, latency, and reliability.
•Help define scalable AI-native development patterns, workflows, and standards for the team.

Key Requirements

•Ship AI-powered product features using LLMs and/or embeddings (e.g., intelligent search, natural language interfaces, content generation).
•Apply pragmatic judgment for when AI is the right solution versus simpler, cheaper traditional software.
•Understand system design tradeoffs and handle challenges like latency, cost, reliability, evaluation, and graceful degradation.
