Job Summary

Maintain CarMax’s vehicle inventory and quality standards by receiving and securing shipped vehicles, preparing title packets, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Support customer experience through lot maintenance, merchandising, vehicle prep for returns and loaners (washing/vacuuming), and managing the photo station process for carmax.com listings. Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support while following CarMax EH&S requirements and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.
•Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.
•Perform lot maintenance and merchandising to keep display areas clean and organized.
•Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
•Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings, and drive vehicles on/off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.5 - 25.8 hourly

Key Requirements

•Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
•Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
•Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
•Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
•Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
