Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure reliability, automation, operability, performance, and cost-efficiency for critical airline products across Traveler touchpoints, Offer, and Order.
  • •Support day-to-day operations and project work to maintain reliable applications for the Airlines Business Unit.
  • •Collaborate with global teams (Europe, US, APAC) and contribute to the Follow-the-Sun (FTS) operational model.
  • •Use CI/CD, containers, orchestration, and observability tooling to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production services.
  • •Apply distributed systems knowledge to manage and troubleshoot microservices, caches, databases, and event streaming components.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience with Linux environments, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Argo Workflows.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • •Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
  • •Scripting ability in Python, Shell, Go (or equivalent) and understanding of distributed systems and event streaming (e.g., Kafka).
