Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead financial due diligence for M&A and other strategic transactions by assessing historical performance, forecasting targets, and pressure-testing key assumptions.
  • •Build deal models and pro forma forecasts, evaluating deal economics and structuring options.
  • •Partner with Corporate Development, Accounting, and sponsoring business teams to carry diligence findings and operating assumptions into the model.
  • •Translate deal impacts into Anthropic’s forecast and plan and present recommendations to Finance leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in M&A-related roles across areas such as investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, corporate development, or strategic finance.
  • •Hands-on experience building acquisition models and pro forma forecasts from scratch, with strong understanding of how transactions flow through the three financial statements.
  • •Ability to collaborate and build trust across large, cross-functional deal teams.
  • •Clear, proactive communication, including experience presenting analysis to Finance leadership.
  • •Track record of creating repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
