Key Responsibilities

•Follow assembly drawings and/or specifications and computer information systems to prepare parts and build subassemblies, modules and accessories for new gas turbine engines where tooling and process methods are established.
•Perform similar duties assisting with engine test operations and performing component and accessory tests as assigned.
•Use overhaul and repair procedures and specifications to perform the mechanical work to overhaul engines, modules and related components.
•Obtain parts, check details for conformance to assembly requirements and fit and measure components to assure overall dimensions are within limits specified.
•Use mechanic’s hand tools, holding fixtures, and specialized assembly equipment to build engine sections and perform installation of details and maintain equipment and tooling for assigned areas.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Military Aviation Powerplant, Airframes, or Avionics Technical Training
•Must be eligible to participate in DoD SkillBridge
•U.S. citizenship is required
•Ability to obtain Security Clearance
