Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Test and inspect electrical items (panelboards and switchboards) to verify correct product function.
  • •Perform troubleshooting and repair as required, diagnosing malfunctions and reporting findings to supervisors/engineering.
  • •Assemble and fit/mount sub-assemblies, components, and fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment.
  • •Prepare products for tests and inspections and perform electrical testing/inspection of control panels and related equipment.
  • •Assemble and test panelboards/switchboards to customer specification using drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions; maintain 5S and support Lean initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum three years of experience in an electrical assembly/test role using hand and/or power tools, or a one-year Technical School diploma in Electrical Systems plus two years of electrical assembly/test experience.
  • •Experience reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting electrical control systems.
  • •Must have experience with wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
  • •Ability to interact and contribute in a small team environment and flex according to production demands.
  • •Must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly and work overtime as required.
