Job Summary

Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Success Plans micro-consulting engagements focused on Financial Reporting and Workday Prism Analytics. Design, build, and troubleshoot complex Workday financial reports; guide customers on ingesting and blending external data; advise on Accounting Center configuration; and troubleshoot Prism data pipelines, datasets, and calculated fields. Deliver presentations, review customer tenants for adoption opportunities, and maintain Workday certification expertise while staying current with the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and troubleshoot complex Workday Financial reports including Composite, Matrix, and Advanced reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow).
•Guide customers on ingesting, preparing, and blending high volumes of external operational data with core Workday financial data using Workday Prism Analytics.
•Advise on configuring Workday Accounting Center to transform external business events into detailed accounting journal entries and subledgers.
•Design and troubleshoot Prism data pipelines, datasets, and calculated fields to support variance analysis, trended P&L reporting, and unified dashboards.
•Deliver customer presentations and perform tenant reviews and configuration/business requirements reviews to identify adoption opportunities and optimization areas.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•8+ years of IT implementation experience.
•8+ years of experience with HR and/or Finance systems, including Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards.
•2+ years of software consulting experience.
•Experience gathering financial requirements and building complex financial reports for finance teams (e.g., Controllers, FP&A).
•Hands-on experience with data integration, data modeling, or building data pipelines (ETL processes) to support financial analytics.
