Job Summary

Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment on the production line during the Weekend Day Shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.). Perform routine and complex operations to produce blades and/or vanes while completing quality checks. Read process sheets, use measuring devices, set up and document work, run equipment through the full work loop, and clock labor in Solumina. Maintain equipment and work areas using TPM and 5S while supporting standard work and overtime needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a variety of production machines (e.g., washer, shot peen, furnace, laser weld, tack weld, laser ablation, x-ray, bake and detailer) to produce blades and/or vanes.
•Perform daily standard work and adhere to standard work and all work instructions.
•Read and interpret process sheets, use gages/measuring devices, deburr and clean parts, make minor offset changes, and document information on check sheets and run charts.
•Clock labor in Solumina and perform daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), documenting results.
•Maintain equipment and work areas clean using 5S and move throughout the machine line to operate equipment (including lifting up to 10 pounds).

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED.
•U.S. citizenship is required for authorization under the program/contract.
•Previous manufacturing experience, manufacturing education, or an Advanced Manufacturing Certification.
•Ability to operate a variety of production machines and perform routine operations on the production line.
•Read and interpret process sheets and gages; deburr and clean parts; use measuring devices to assess product acceptance based on specifications.
