Key Responsibilities

  • •Problem analysis and approach: Gather information, analyze using available means, solicit additional diagnostic information if needed, decide on initial approach to solve the problem and execute, consulting with others where appropriate.
  • •Problem handovers and routing: Handover issues to 2nd line support, document and package all data for resolution (pass-downs, field service reports, system problem reports)
  • •Repairs: Use tools, replace parts, adjust settings to perform repairs and standard service actions independently
  • •Procedures: Coordinate parts, tools, equipment, and information within customer machine time windows to execute procedures
  • •Training / advice: Explain actions to users to correct malfunctions, train customers in operation and maintenance, suggest changes in user procedures

Key Requirements

  • •BSc degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent)
  • •Experience in a technical industry; semiconductor industry experience preferred
  • •Experience using computer applications including data analysis tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • •Solid knowledge of product functionality for the main modules/sub-modules
  • •Self-driven with the ability to work independently or with limited supervision
