Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform grinding, select fit sizing, and/or assembly operations and complete quality inspections using control plans, reaction charts, and SPC charts.
  • •Set up machines and perform basic troubleshooting, including manual material handling as needed.
  • •Conduct safety activities including LOTO and 5S, and open EHS event reports for spills, property damage, or unsafe behavior.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions, determine root causes, and remove/replace/repair worn or defective parts; align components and return equipment to operational status.
  • •Close out Roxboro maintenance work orders and understand the work order system’s layout and functionality.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 1 year of machining and/or assembly experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of PLC experience.
  • •Preferred: degree in Mechatronics; certificates in electrical work; and/or classes for industrial PLCs.
  • •Preferred experience with heat treat/grinding operations, CAD (Auto CAD), troubleshooting, and working with microns; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
