Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide global leadership for Line Control (LC) within Issuer Services Operations, ensuring embedment, adherence, and effective operation of LC mandates across the franchise.
  • •Develop and actively engage control strategies, oversee the LC mandate for global consistency, and drive regional rollout of control monitoring best practices.
  • •Lead risk reporting and partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent operation and reporting of internal controls, risk resolutions, and mitigations.
  • •Shape and standardize working practices, drive control monitoring and internal quality control processes, and ensure quality-assured results that protect the internal control environment.
  • •Proactively manage risks and issues by advising on action plans and ensuring timely remediation across incidents, audit, RCA, and NFR reviews; promote a strong risk and control culture.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven delivery track record with sound knowledge of risk management processes and the ability to influence senior management with practical solutions.
  • •Strong understanding of issuer services products and associated post-trade operational processes.
  • •Excellent understanding of operations environments within global Markets or MSS, and experience in a product-aligned control function within investment banking.
  • •Well-developed leadership skills to motivate a multi-disciplined team and deliver high-quality results.
  • •Excellent organizational, team management, and project management skills, including reporting and presentation ability.
