Key Responsibilities

  • •Connect Lean principles and apply Lean tools to achieve KPI targets and improve through innovation and replication.
  • •Lead and facilitate process improvement efforts across programs and functions, using tools such as problem solving, Kaizen workshops, 3P, value stream/process mapping, and 5S.
  • •Develop, deploy, and execute integrated continuous improvement strategy, including training employees at all levels.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement, share best practices, and replicate successful process improvements across the organization.
  • •Analyze data and metrics to measure Lean initiative effectiveness and prepare and present progress and outcomes reports to management.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years implementing Lean principles, including identifying opportunities and making value-stream improvement recommendations that improve business outcomes through culture transformation.
  • •3+ years of experience in Lean events such as Accelerated Improvement Workshop (AIW) or Value Stream Mapping (VSM), or completion of a Lean class.
  • •3+ years leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transitions, or initiatives.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent work or military experience).
  • •Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred) and knowledge/application of the Boeing Production System (BPS) (preferred).
