Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the lead technical advisor to assigned Federal Civilian accounts, working with Account Executives to drive territory strategy from discovery to technical win.
  • •Develop and articulate value-driven Elastic solutions for agency modernization mandates, IT goals, and operational pain points.
  • •Cultivate relationships with customer leadership across program managers, enterprise architects, Agency CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs.
  • •Deliver technical demonstrations, tailored POCs, and custom architectural prototypes validating Elastic capabilities.
  • •Collaborate with Federal System Integrators, VARs, and strategic partners on joint account plans and program captures; advocate federal requirements to Elastic product and engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Based in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore, or Tysons Corner / Northern VA area with the ability to collaborate in-person in a hybrid capacity.
  • •4+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or Technical Presales Consultant in enterprise software or federal high-tech.
  • •Familiarity or experience supporting federal mission areas, including healthcare (HHS), FWA & regulatory oversight, federal data & analytics, and/or international affairs.
  • •Proven success leading technical evaluations and analysis of alternatives (AOA), overcoming technical objections, and articulating ROI for modernization and re-architecture.
  • •Ability to influence technical decision-makers and engage both small technical teams and large executive audiences; experience with ML concepts is a plus.
