Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Accounting Leader, Expense, in establishing the expense accounting team in the India Shared Services Center, including implementation of standard processes and governance.
  • •Deliver successful transition of expense accounting processes from local finance teams (including the United States and Ireland) to the India Shared Service Center.
  • •Ensure performance against targeted global KPIs to achieve the desired service level for the business.
  • •Integrate expense accounting processes for new acquisitions into the India Shared Service Center.
  • •Work with teams across shared services and business lines to identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies, including with the ERP IT team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with a CPA or Chartered Accountant certification (or similar qualification).
  • •Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a global shared service center environment.
  • •Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools, with experience in PeopleSoft as a plus.
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional management and finance leadership.
  • •Ability to establish and implement processes in a fast-paced environment while balancing process objectives with practical considerations.
