Job Summary

Drive business outcomes through HSBC’s SAGE digital platform within the Digital Business & Partnerships team. Leverage internal and consent/public data APIs to automate and digitize credit and non-financial risk workflows, extract and prepare large datasets, and perform EDA to deliver actionable insights. Support the development and validation of machine learning models, build dashboards with Power BI/Tableau/Looker, and collaborate with IT, business, and regulators to test new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Leverage internal data and consent/non-consent data APIs to drive multiple business outcomes via the SAGE digital platform.
•Automate and digitize analytics for credit risk and non-financial risk of the HSBC portfolio.
•Extract, clean, and preprocess large datasets for analysis and model building using modern tools.
•Perform EDA and support the design, development, and validation of machine learning models.
•Create dashboards and reports with Power BI/Tableau/Looker, communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with regulators and partners in sandbox initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, cloud technology, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
•Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and data analytics concepts.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with eagerness to learn new technologies.
•Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience across data-led roles, analytics, and rule-based frameworks.
