Job Summary

Serve as the primary post-sale technical point of contact for OpenAI education institution accounts. Drive account health and adoption by assessing technical readiness, identifying high-impact academic and administrative use cases, and delivering measurable value. Lead configuration and enablement across ChatGPT Edu, APIs, connectors, and Agents, build an adoption roadmap with KPIs and governance, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Research to resolve blockers and scale responsible adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the post-sale technical relationship for EDU customers, advising on deployment, configuration, identity, security, governance, troubleshooting, optimization, and responsible adoption.
•Implement technical interventions and agentic solutions to drive adoption of OpenAI capabilities across an assigned EDU portfolio.
•Own account health and technical success, including adoption velocity, stakeholder engagement, risks, and value realization.
•Deliver technical configuration and enablement across ChatGPT Edu (Codex & Work), API, connectors, Agents, and other OpenAI capabilities.
•Translate institutional objectives into an adoption roadmap with workstreams, milestones, governance, risks, KPIs, and clear stakeholder ownership; measure and report value realization.

Key Requirements

•8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., technical account management, solutions architecture, technical delivery leadership, education technology implementation, or enterprise SaaS adoption).
•Hands-on knowledge of OpenAI product capabilities including APIs, SDKs, connectors, integration patterns, and ability to explain model behavior and technical tradeoffs.
•Experience translating technical concepts into institutional value across student success, research productivity, administrative efficiency, faculty enablement, risk, and governance.
•Ability to map customer workflows, diagnose adoption challenges, and build credible rollout plans through customer embedding.
•Strong project and program management across multi-stakeholder, consensus-driven environments.
