Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform automotive lubrication services such as oil changes and topping off fluids.
  • •Thoroughly check vehicle items (battery, lights, tires) and refer needed repairs or preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
  • •Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment and ensure equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
  • •Receive repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and proceed to service lift to lubricate the entire car.
  • •Follow company safety policies and procedures, keeping the customer’s car clean and reporting accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ months of experience as a technician’s helper, apprentice technician, or lube technician in an automotive dealership or service shop.
  • •Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • •Experience using automotive tools and equipment (e.g., wrenches, oil filter wrenches, socket sets) to work efficiently and safely.
  • •Must have own set of tools (basic hand tools, wrenches, sockets).
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment compliance requirements (drug testing, background check, MVR).
