Job Summary

Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion of defined water project work packages within the Asset Management team for AMP8. Manage project proposals, commercial performance (P&L, margins, forecasts), schedules, budgets, and expenditure, and ensure contract administration and change management. Develop project documentation, monitor project controls, communicate with teams and customers, and lead multidisciplinary teams with a strong health and safety focus.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage project proposals, including determining scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates for delivery.
•Own the P&L with commercial and financial accountability, including revenue delivery, margin/overhead management, and risk and opportunity reviews.
•Develop project management documentation such as plans, forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, and organization charts.
•Monitor and control project schedule, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
•Ensure effective contract management, including contract administration and change management, while leading multidisciplinary project teams and communicating with teams and customers.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects, including regulated water industry exposure (advantageous but not essential).
•Working knowledge or accreditation in NEC supported with the skills to administer NEC Contracts.
•Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI, or MICE.
•Proficiency using project management tools and software.
•Demonstrate competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.
