Key Responsibilities

  • •Thoroughly investigate arbitration cases, compile evidence, and conduct internal audits of the customer complaint journey to ensure fair outcomes.
  • •Assess external arbitration body decisions and take ownership of legally binding outcomes, ensuring Wise presents all necessary evidence.
  • •Serve as a primary APAC expert on local regulatory frameworks and arbitration body trends, monitoring regulatory changes and interpreting impacts.
  • •Perform root-cause analysis by collecting complaint data, recording arbitration decisions, and sharing feedback with relevant teams.
  • •Defend Wise against adverse decisions, collaborate cross-functionally to improve policies and workflows, and handle cases within SLAs.

Salary: SGD 5,850 - 7,750 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •At least 12–24 months in a Financial Ombudsman office, regulatory body, bank, or FinTech handling dispute resolution, legal claims, customer escalations, or regulatory compliance within APAC markets.
  • •Impeccable written and verbal English skills.
  • •Strong foundation or keen interest in APAC financial regulatory frameworks and arbitration body processes.
  • •Legal background (e.g., law degree or paralegal experience) is preferred but not required.
  • •Comfort using data/BI tools to identify patterns and trends; Lightdash and SQL are preferred.
