Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage supplier nonconformances (MRB, escapes, deviations) and support containment planning and risk mitigation.
  • •Drive root cause analysis and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • •Track supplier KPIs including quality (PPM, defect rates), delivery, and cost of poor quality (COPQ), and maintain approved supplier lists (ASL).
  • •Follow up on and support approval of PPAP from external and internal suppliers.
  • •Develop and evaluate inspection, testing, and evaluation techniques for incoming goods; review inspection results and oversee disposition of unaccepted items.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing setting.
  • •Experience with supplier performance management, supplier corrective actions, and non-conforming material dispositions (MRB/CONC).
  • •Ability to travel locally and nationally to supplier sites as needed, up to 10%.
  • •No relocation benefit; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the posted location will be considered.
