Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve multi-year data and AI platform roadmaps aligned to enterprise architecture, security standards, and business strategies.
  • •Implement data and AI governance controls and platform-level security best practices for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP).
  • •Develop design patterns and help build data and agentic AI applications on EDP using Databricks, OpenAI/Claude, and Snowflake capabilities.
  • •Provide hands-on platform delivery: lead improvements to a custom Data Portal for data cataloging, search/discovery, and sharing; run architectural and technical reviews.
  • •Champion automation, observability, and DevSecOps practices to ensure reliability, performance, and cost-effective operations; mentor engineers and guide adoption of emerging technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •12+ years’ experience in data platforms focused on advanced analytics, AI/ML infrastructure, data security, and automation.
  • •Hands-on experience with Azure (Data Lake, Azure ML, Event Hubs) and IaC using Terraform.
  • •Must have Databricks experience (e.g., Lakeflow, Spark, Delta Lake, Databricks Applications, Unity Catalog).
  • •Experience designing and building API-driven data platforms (REST/GraphQL, microservices) and data/AI applications using RAG/vector databases.
