Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and perform failure analysis/construction analysis for qualification/evaluation, process rejects, and RMAs, and deliver results in final reports.
  • •Advise cross-functional/problem-solving teams on analysis techniques to determine cause and failure mechanisms.
  • •Provide machine readiness and perform buyoff for new tools and capacity ramp-up.
  • •Develop new FA capabilities/techniques to improve detection, productivity, and optimize recipes.
  • •Conduct FA staff training; maintain FA tools and lab environment to meet 5S and safety requirements; support audits and follow action items.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Material/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 3 years’ reliability test and failure analysis experience in semiconductor/photonic industry.
  • •Hands-on understanding of failure analysis techniques including cross-section, ion-mill, CSAM, EDX, FTIR, and FIB.
  • •Knowledge of material characterization procedures including bend, abrasion, and adhesion tests.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team-based problem-solving skills.
