Key Responsibilities

  • •Test Qantas applications and help shape and scale the organization’s test automation capability.
  • •Develop automation scripts and suites, including automated test cases and continuous improvement of testing tools and approaches.
  • •Enhance CI systems and contribute to designing and troubleshooting test cases within the product operating model.
  • •Support release readiness by participating in release readiness discussions and go/no-go decisions.
  • •Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in enterprise QA or Quality Engineering, including testing both Mobile and Web applications as part of a shared service.
  • •Hands-on manual testing experience for front-end applications using JavaScript, React, SSR, and micro-frontend architectures.
  • •Manual testing experience with native Android and iOS mobile apps.
  • •Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress for web, and Appium or Xcuitest and Espresso for mobile apps.
  • •Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), version control with Git, and scripting languages including JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Kotlin/Swift.
