Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the accountable first-line control owner for order-to-cash and revenue business process controls, including design, documentation, execution, and evidence.
  • •Maintain order-to-cash process narratives, SOPs, and process maps and keep them accurate through system and business changes.
  • •Partner with Billing, AR & Collections, Deal Desk, and Revenue Accounting to keep process definitions current and consistently executed.
  • •Design and influence controls for usage capture and rating, contract-to-billing accuracy, invoice completeness, cash application, and credit/adjustment approvals.
  • •Partner with Revenue Technology and Internal Audit on IT-dependent and automated controls, embed control requirements into system changes, and support external auditors through walkthroughs and testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience supporting SOX 404 readiness at a pre-IPO company or within a public company reporting environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •Deep, hands-on SOX experience over revenue and order-to-cash processes, including designing controls and understanding control objectives and audit evidence sufficiency.
  • •Experience as the business-side owner/lead partner on revenue system implementations, migrations, or major configuration changes (requirements, UAT, and data reconciliation).
  • •Working knowledge of ASC 606 and how contracts, usage, and billing translate into recognized revenue.
