Provide end-to-end strategic legal support for global Commercial and SME Solutions, focused on developing new products and services for small businesses. Draft, review, and negotiate complex customer and vendor agreements, while assessing legal/business risk, regulatory and compliance requirements, and payment automation or trade platform issues. Advise internally and with subject matter experts on privacy, antitrust, and regulatory matters, support business development, and identify process improvements to streamline operations.

•Act as a day-to-day advisor for SME clients by partnering with business and legal specialists to support strategy, including expanding acceptance.
•Advise on commercial and contractual matters, performing legal and business risk assessment and analysis from new product constructs to commercial agreements.
•Collaborate with internal subject matter experts on regulatory, compliance, privacy, and antitrust issues relevant to products.
•Draft, review, and negotiate complex customer and vendor agreements (e.g., Master Services, SaaS, Software, and Data Licensing), identifying risks and recommending solutions.

Key Requirements

•At least 7 years of experience as a qualified lawyer licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
•JD (or equivalent) from an accredited law school; admitted to and in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
•Complex transactional legal experience with strong drafting and negotiating skills for complex concepts, issues, and deal structures.
•Experience as day-to-day advisor able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Experience advising on commercial and contractual matters, including legal and business risk assessment (in-house and/or law firm experience preferred).
