Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/brake/cooling systems, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, differentials, steering systems, and related equipment.
  • •Use test instruments and road testing to diagnose malfunctions and ensure vehicles are operating properly.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory, maintain the service truck, and conduct daily pre-/post-trip safety inspections.
  • •Complete DOT forms and repair orders accurately, documenting work, parts used, and findings using company standards and devices.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination with certification/education).
  • •Possess and supply the hand tools necessary to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen months.
  • •Hold a current and valid DOT medical card (or be able to complete DOT physical prior to employment).
  • •Be at least 21 years or older and maintain a valid driver’s license with a Driver Qualification File; safe drivers required.
