Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage the supply base to support sourcing for Starlink satellites, satellite subsystems, and ground stations.
  • •Provide weekly status reporting and escalate to management when necessary.
  • •Train and mentor team members to ensure continuous improvement.
  • •Work with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for platforms, new product development, capital purchases, and production consumables.
  • •Use production equipment understanding, data analytics, benchmarking, and negotiations to drive cost/space/process optimization, build project budgets and capitalization plans, and communicate schedules, risks, and mitigation to management and executives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations or supply chain management, or material cost control and master production scheduling.
  • •Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing global suppliers.
  • •Experience sourcing high-volume manufacturing commodities such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, die casting, CNC machining, and production tooling.
  • •Ability to prioritize to meet internal customer and company needs.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills across internal stakeholders, with attention to detail and integrity in a fast-moving environment.
