Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned mechanical parts, solving supplier emergent manufacturing and quality challenges and mitigating risk.
  • •Investigate issues to root cause, implement corrective changes at suppliers and/or SpaceX, and drive actions to closure including re-sourcing when needed.
  • •Drive technical product improvements and engineering drawing updates to reduce defect opportunities and improve manufacturability, lead times, and cost.
  • •Own new product introduction and ramp-to-rate for parts and assemblies, including selecting manufacturing methods, identifying/reviewing suppliers, and managing transitions.
  • •Drive PPAP program and lead containment activities, collaborating cross-functionally to agree scope and path to resolution.
